Dear Reader,
If you’re here, you might be considering therapy—or perhaps you’re simply curious about what it can
offer. Either way, I want to welcome you and share a bit of why I believe so deeply in the power of
therapy.
Therapy is not just about addressing struggles or healing wounds; it’s about giving yourself permission to
feel, to hope, and to grow in ways you may not have thought possible. It’s a safe space where your
story, with all its ups and downs, is heard, valued, and held with the utmost care. Therapy allows us to
connect with our true selves, helping us to see our own strength and resilience, even in our most
vulnerable moments.
Life can be complex and overwhelming. Many of us carry burdens we were never meant to carry alone,
and over time, these can start to feel like parts of ourselves. But therapy reminds us that we don’t have
to shoulder everything alone. A quote from my favourite book, The Kite Runner, reads “For you, a
thousand times over,” and is a reminder that we all deserve the chance to heal, to be seen, and to have the
space to become whole again. Therapy teaches us that no feeling is too big or too small, and no struggle
is too insignificant to explore. Each one of these moments is a doorway to understanding ourselves
more deeply.
Therapy is a journey—sometimes challenging, sometimes liberating—but always, I believe,
transformative. It’s a place to rediscover hope, to heal, and to envision a life that feels true and fulfilling.
I believe in this journey because I’ve seen the courage it awakens, the healing it fosters, and the growth
it nurtures.
So, if you’re thinking about therapy, know that you’re taking a beautiful and brave step toward the life
you deserve. Healing and self-discovery aren’t destinations; they’re ongoing paths that we walk, often in
the company of others who care deeply about our well-being. Therapy is one of those companions, a
place of support, understanding, and profound change.
Thank you for letting me share this with you. Wherever your journey takes you, may it be filled with
hope.
Regards,
Jelena Vulic, RP
